We offer a full range of upholstery services tailored for budget interior design, from made-to-order scatter cushions to full reupholstery and simple recovering. Our studio is deeply committed to zero waste upholstery in the Cotswolds, and we do our best to reuse every upholstery material that comes through our doors. Fabric scraps are thoughtfully sewn together to create unique, one-of-a-kind scatter cushions, and when foam is needed, we reuse and shred it for filling. When recycled materials aren’t the right fit, we turn to natural, sustainable options instead, ensuring we provide eco-friendly furniture. We love working with kapok, hemp, organic cotton, and wool whenever possible, choosing materials that are better for your home and kinder to the planet.

About Looma & Twill
Hello!
I’m Kate, a qualified Interior Designer and Upholsterer.
I’ve been working in the design industry since 2021.
I studied Interior Design at Falmouth University of Art, where I graduated with honours, before going on to complete a three-year upholstery diploma with the Bristol Upholstery Collective.
My experience spans a range of disciplines, from bespoke kitchen design to large-scale commercial projects across London and the South West. That said, I’m now being drawn to smaller, hands-on work. I care deeply about helping to create beautiful, functional homes that feel personal, achievable and on real-world budgets.
I believe most people already have the foundations of a great space. The furniture and pieces that reflect who they are are often already there. What’s usually needed is a fresh perspective: guidance on layout, confidence with colour, or ideas for reworking and refreshing what they already own.
Over the years, I’ve developed a strong instinct for making the most of what’s at hand, whether I’m working within tight budgets or supporting clients in shared or temporary homes.
The Mission:
My little business is currently based in and around the Cotswolds with an aim to help you make the most of your home and the furniture you already have! By restoring, repurposing, and redesigning, we create beautiful, functional spaces with minimal waste. Our mission is to shift the interiors industry from a throwaway culture to a circular, sustainable one - preserving memories, reducing landfill, and making every piece count.

Reupholstering and refreshing what you already own keeps large, bulky items out of landfill and reduces demand for new manufacturing. Using paint, new layouts, or small decorative updates has a much lower environmental footprint than replacing furniture wholesale.
